This formula addresses Wind Damp Heat invasion of the skin secondary to internal Damp Heat accumulation. It is formed from Long Dan Xie Gan Tang (Gentiana Combination) to which is added Phellodendron and Atractylodes (Er Miao San; Two Marvels Combination) to further clear Heat, dry Damp, and reduce Damp formation in the middle burner. Other herbs expel Wind Damp Heat pathogens from the skin, and address secondary Blood stasis
